Chiles is 1-9 against Lincoln since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Chiles Timberwolves will head out on the road to face off against the Lincoln Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Chiles focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought match, but Chiles had to settle for a 49-47 defeat against St. John Paul II.
Isaiah Bundrage put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trenquarius Strozier, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lincoln earned a 59-49 victory over Potter's House Christian Blue on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln.
Chiles' victory lifted them to 1-1 while St. John Paul II's defeat dropped them down to 1-2.
Chiles came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 65-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chiles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
