Even though the Concord Christian Lions scored an imposing 60 points on Friday, Berean Christian still came out on top. Berean Christian narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lions 62-60. The win made it back-to-back wins for Berean Christian.
Berean Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Deonte Smith out in front who scored 20 points. Dalton Claiborne was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Berean Christian pushed their record up to 22-5 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home. As for Concord Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-10.
Berean Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Concord Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
