North Judson-San Pierre extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 6-7 in the process. They blew past the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles 14-4. Considering the Bluejays have won five games by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Aiden Christensen made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Brock Benson and Owen Timm did most of the damage at the plate: Benson went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and one double, while Timm got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those five RBI gave Benson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trey McGowen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
North Judson-San Pierre was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .306 or higher in six consecutive matchups.
As for Elkhart Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.
On Elkhart Christian Academy's side, Gray Reynolds was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Elkins, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Judson-San Pierre will take on Winamac at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Bluejays' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, they will square off against Bremen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
