The Gordonsville Tigers will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Rockvale at 4:00  p.m. Gordonsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.3  runs per game this season.
 On Thursday, Gordonsville was able to grind out a solid  win over Watertown, taking the game  7-2.

 At the plate, Gordonsville let  Tristan Wood and  Tucker Smith loose on the outfield. Wood  went 2-for-5 with two  stolen bases and  an  RBI, while  Smith  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.  John (jay) Foster was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Rockvale lost a close one when they played  on March 4th but unfortunately for them the  defeat they were handed on  last Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They suffered a  rough 9-3 loss at the hands of Upperman.
 Gordonsville's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.0 runs per game. As for Rockvale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
