Mapletown has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They and the West Greene Pioneers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
Mapletown pushed their score all the way to 57 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 73-57 to Bentworth. Mapletown has not had much luck with Bentworth recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Even though West Greene has not done well against Carmichaels recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. West Greene took down Carmichaels 49-33. The win made it back-to-back wins for West Greene.
Mapletown has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for West Greene, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
