Madison and St. Clair are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Madison Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the St. Clair Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Madison had to settle for a 47-44 defeat against Marine City.
Meanwhile, St. Clair scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Cardinal Mooney Catholic with points to spare, taking the game 66-47. Given St. Clair's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Cardinal Mooney Catholic is ranked 289th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Clair, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
Madison beat St. Clair 58-46 when the teams last played back in February. Does Madison have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Clair turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
