Northwestern had a rough outing against South Dade last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Everything went Northwestern's way against Hialeah-Miami Lakes on Thursday as the team secured a 48-0 win. That result was just more of the same for Northwestern, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win got Northwestern back to even at 2-2. Hialeah-Miami Lakes are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Northwestern will stay at home next week against Booker T. Washington at 7:30 PM. Hialeah-Miami Lakes will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against American at Milander in three weeks at 7:30 PM. Hialeah-Miami Lakes come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
