The Lowry Buckaroos entered their tilt with the Quincy Trojans with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Lowry was the clear victor by a 52-29 margin over Quincy. Considering Lowry has won three contests by more than 22 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Lowry was led to victory by Jaden Jimenez and Matthew Casalez. Jimenez scored 12 points along with three steals, while Casalez scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Guzman, who scored four points along with five steals.
Lowry's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Quincy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowry and South Tahoe will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully South Tahoe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Saturday. Quincy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Lassen at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Lassen is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.4 points per game.
