Zach Dobbins and LT Nembard provided fans with a highlight when they connected against South Windsor. The connection went for 87 yards, the longest such play in Central Connecticut I West this season.
Southington was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Newington 35-0. The Blue Knights came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Hall's dynamic duo of Dobbins and Nembard proved tough for the Bobcats to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dobbins threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns and Nembard had 160 yards receiving. Andrew Monos helped Hall's passing attack out by catching two balls for 63 yards.
Jarrid Grimmett was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 107 yards on 16 carries as Southington beat South Windsor. Teammate Stephen Barmore added to the ground attack by rushing for 80 yards.
Hall's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dobbins has thrown for 455 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Nembard has 15 catches for 305 yards. Jordan Bell leads the league in rushing with 341 yards.
A big matchup in Central Connecticut I West this week will be when Mike Drury's team takes on Conard. At the moment, the Blue Knights are in first, while the Chieftains are in fifth.
New Britain took down East Hartford 43-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
