1. Union (Tulsa)
2016 record: 11-2
Head Coach: Kirk Fridrich

Union won its eighth state title last season and first since 2011 with a 57-43 win over Norman North. The Tulsa power avenged its two losses when it mattered most, beating Jenks (Okla.) and Norman North in the semifinals and state championship game.

When it comes to talent, Union matches up with anyone in the state as 4-star Oklahoma State commit CJ Moore, and 3-star Oklahoma commits Jordan Kelley and Patrick Fields give the Redskins three of the top 11 recruits in the state.

2. Norman North
2016 record: Brent Barnes
Head coach: 12-1

The Timberwolves were one game from finishing 2016 a perfect 13-0, but fell short against Union in the class 6A-I state championship game.

First team MaxPreps Junior All-American Drake Stoops returns after hauling in 86 catches for 1,536 yards and 20 touchdowns. The son of former Oklahoma Sooner head coach Bob Stoops will again be one of the best offensive players in the state in 2017.

3. Bixby
2016 record: 10-3
Head coach: Loren Montgomery

The reigning 6A-II state champions return a ton, including 6-foot-5, 305 pound offensive lineman and Oklahoma State commit Bryce Bray.

Rising senior running back Tucker Pawley returns after just over 2,000 yards rushing and 30 touchdowns as a junior, while Staton King looks to replace Tanner Griffin at quarterback after he threw for 3,049 yards and 39 scores last season.

Defensively, Coby Tillman returns for his senior season after 192 tackles and nine sacks as a junior.

4. Jenks
2016 record: 11-1
Head coach: Allan Trimble

Quarterback Ian Corwin returns for his junior season after a one-loss sophomore campaign.

The Trojans lost skills players Reese Leitao at tight end and Isaiah Epps at wideout, and must find guys to step into those roles.

Mitchell Kulkin and Trey Miller return at linebacker to solidify Jenks' defense.

5. Wagoner
2016 record: 14-0
Head coach: Dale Condict

The Bulldogs enter 2017 with 37 straight wins and a shot at a fourth straight state title.

Replacing All-State quarterback Malcolm Rodriguez is top priority. Returning senior wide receiver Nikia Jones has 39 career touchdowns and more than 2,500 career receiving yards.

The Bulldogs need six wins to break the Oklahoma 11-man football win streak mark.
