After two games on the road, Springfield is heading back home. They will take on the Field Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Tuesday, Springfield had to suffer through a rough 71-34 loss at the hands of Manchester. Springfield has not had much luck with Manchester recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jacob Thomas, who scored 5 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Field took a serious blow against Roosevelt on Tuesday, falling 62-35. Field has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
With Springfield's victory and Manchester's defeat, both teams now sport identical 1-1 records.
Springfield lost to Field at home by a decisive 58-44 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Springfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
