Quinter extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Shea S salyers. The Quinter Bulldogs came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-46 W against the Decatur Community Red Devils thanks in part to S salyers, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Gunner Catura was another key player, putting up ten points and eight assists. Those eight assists gave him a new career-high.

Decatur Community lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyler Ostmeyer, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. That was a full 41.3% of Decatur Community's points, marking the fourth time in a row Ostmeyer has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Davin Jensen, who put up ten points and four steals.

Quinter pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Decatur Community, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Quinter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Decatur Community, they will square off against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
