After losing to the Heritage Christian Academy Lions the last time they met, the Temple Christian Watchmen decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Temple Christian took down Heritage Christian Academy 58-42 on Thursday.
Despite the defeat, Heritage Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Addelynn Reid scored 20 points. The match was Reid's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Klock, who scored 12 points.
The win got Temple Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Temple Christian will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple Christian at 5:00 p.m.
