Volleyball Recap: Milford Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Milford didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Kings Knights on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Milford walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8, 25-19.

Bryce Fielman paced Milford's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fielman got some help from Duran Jewett and his 23 assists. Fielman was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Milford's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Kings, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Milford will square off against West Clermont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Kings, they will head out on the road to take on Loveland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
