Corona del Mar extended the longest winning streak in Pacific Coast this week by beating Northwood, 35-21. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
University fell to Irvine 31-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chase Alibrando was a bright spot for the Trojans, as he ran for 192 yards and caught 1 pass for 17 yards in the loss.
Luke Napolitano was a passing and rushing force as Corona del Mar beat the Timberwolves. He completed 15 passes for 215 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 30 yards. Napolitano's favorite target this week was Cole Collins, who caught 5 passes for 109 yards.
Collins was the best receiver in the league this week as Scott Meyer's team topped Northwood. Collins racked up 5 receptions for 109 yards. William Hunter helped Corona del Mar's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 34 yards.
Corona del Mar's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Sea Kings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Napolitano has thrown for 1,644 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Collins has 41 catches for 733 yards.
The Sea Kings led the league in scoring this week by notching 35 points on Rick Curtis' team. Napolitano ran for 30 yards during the win.
