Volleyball Recap: Aztec Beats Northwest for Their Third Straight Victory

Aztec waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northwest Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2018.

Aztec walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 28-15, 25-19, 25-19.

Aztec's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Northwest, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Aztec and Northwest will both be playing Dulce the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Hawks at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
