On Friday, Tioga is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Surrey at 7:00 PM.
Last Friday, Tioga couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 0-36 loss at the hands of Mott-Regent/New England.
Surrey had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] 56-14.
Surrey's lifted them to 1-0 while Tioga's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Surrey can add another positive mark to their record or if Tioga can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Surrey's step.
