 Meanwhile, Pine River-Backus entered their tilt with Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Huskies.
 Pine River-Backus' victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Blackduck, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
 Blackduck suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Pine River-Backus  when the teams last played  back in September of 2024. Can the Drakes avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
