The Calvin Christian Crusaders will venture away from home to take on the Coastal Academy Stingrays at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Calvin Christian got the win against Guajome Park Academy by a conclusive 3-0. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Frogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calvin Christian took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-7, 25-10.

Calvin Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaidance Katje out in front who had eight aces, five kills, and three digs. Katje is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Gordon, who had eight aces and four assists.
They weren't the only good servers: Calvin Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Coastal Academy beat Orange Glen 3-1 on Tuesday.
Coastal Academy was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 13-25, 25-12.
Calvin Christian's record now sits at 7-8. As for Coastal Academy, their record is now 8-19.
Calvin Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Coastal Academy when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
