After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Groves, The Ferndale Eagles were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Lake Shore 32-6. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Ferndale's zero-point performance the game before.
Among those leading the charge was Cullen Hock, who threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 87 yards on only eight carries. Jaden Mills was another key contributor, picking up 137 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Ferndale's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB nine times. It was a group effort, with three guys contributing.
Ferndale's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Lake Shore, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
Ferndale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake Shore is also done with their season.
