Washington is 9-1 against West Craven since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pam Pack will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Washington not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 1, 2025 (when they won 13-1). They put the hurt on North Pitt with a sharp 17-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pam Pack.
The team relied heavily on Carly Woolard, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Hudson, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Washington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Craven, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let North Pitt get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Friday.
Cloey Sanders made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Kayleigh Simpson was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Angelina Smith, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Washington's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for West Craven, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
