Amsterdam is a perfect 6-0 against Glens Falls since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Black Bears at 4:30 p.m.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Amsterdam and Johnstown meet (five straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Rams fell 11-7 to the Sir Bills.

Rhys Urbanczyk and Logan Miller did some serious damage despite the final result: Urbanczyk scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Miller scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Glens Falls earned an 8-5 victory over Johnsburg Central on Tuesday.

Tevyn Owira was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Glens Falls' win bumped their record up to 2-0-1. As for Amsterdam, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Amsterdam came out on top in a nail-biter against Glens Falls in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Black Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
