The Tolland Eagles entered their tilt with the Lyman Hall Trojans with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Tolland put the hurt on Lyman Hall with a sharp 30-7 victory on Friday. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but Tolland was the (much) better team in the second half.
Among those leading the charge was Ryan Caminiti, who threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. Nate Howe got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Tolland has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Lyman Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tolland is on the road again on Friday and play against Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Bloomfield has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 336 points over their last seven games. Lyman Hall will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on East Haven at 6:00 p.m. on November 15th. East Haven is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
