The Lincolnview Lancers lost against the Jefferson Wildcats back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Lincolnview was the victim of a tough 65-40 loss at the hands of Jefferson. Lincolnview has not had much luck with Jefferson recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Lincolnview's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emerson Walker, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addysen Stevens, who scored eight points.
Lincolnview's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9. As for Jefferson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
Lincolnview is on the road again on Thursday and plays Crestview at 7:30 p.m. on February 15th. Crestview is coming into the matchup with three straight wins at home, so Lincolnview is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Jefferson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-25 win vs. Fort Jennings on the 12th.
