The Osawatomie Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-30 loss at the hands of Wellsville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Osawatomie has scored all season.
Osawatomie lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jasper Sallee, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Jaxon Stevenson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two steals.
Osawatomie's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wellsville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osawatomie will square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wellsville, they will head out on the road to take on the Chargers on Monday. Santa Fe Trail is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
