After flying high against Reynolds  last Thursday, West Middlesex came back down to earth. The Big Reds came up short against  the Wilmington Greyhounds on Tuesday, falling  9-3. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 14, 2023, but that streak is no more.
  Lila Kimmel was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.  Julia Thornton was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
West Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Wilmington, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.
 Looking ahead, West Middlesex will face off against Rocky Grove at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Wilmington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sharpsville  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
