While the Victory Christian Academy Chargers couldn't quite beat the Thomas Jefferson School Titan on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 25-point loss they were dealt last Thursday. Victory Christian Academy fell just short of the Titan by a score of 39-37. Victory Christian Academy has struggled against the Titan recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Thomas Jefferson School found their leader in underclassman Chase Albano, who scored 18 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Albano has scored all season. Ben Cashen was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Victory Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Thomas Jefferson School, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.
Victory Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Thomas Jefferson School will be playing at home against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
