Meanwhile, Nickerson came up short against Lyons on Tuesday and fell 49-37. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Nickerson in their matchups with Lyons: they've now lost four in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Taylor Engelland, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. It was the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals.
Pratt's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Nickerson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
Pratt was able to grind out a solid victory over Nickerson when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 47-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pratt since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
