After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wade Hampton, Spartanburg was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Broome Centurions as the Spartanburg Vikings made off with a 5-1 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Spartanburg hit Broome with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jayden Mora (2), Luis Ymeri, Mario Ymeri, and Yeferson Acosta-Valera.

Spartanburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Broome, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spartanburg will square off against Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dorman's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Broome, they will head out to challenge Blue Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
