C District 2 (8 Man) recap October 1, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in C District 2 (8 Man) this week, Tipton beat Mountain View-Gotebo 46-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Tigers.
Grandfield was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Duke. The Bearcats came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Tigers' Nic Graham and Tatum Crouch have proven to be a lethal combination. Graham has thrown for 182 yards this season, while Crouch has 12 catches for 249 yards. Ryan's Tyler Brown leads the league in rushing yards with 375.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Duke takes on Tipton. At the moment, Mike Harris' team is in eighth, while Jim Kerbo's team is in first.
