 Meanwhile, Los Osos got themselves on the board against St. Lucy's on Wednesday, but St. Lucy's never followed suit. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over the Regents. The high-scoring effort was just what Los Osos needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
 Los Osos let  Angela Hernandez and  Yalise Yanes loose on the outfield. Hernandez  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Yanes  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Arieana Rocha, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Chino Hills' defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-10. As for Los Osos, their victory  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 8-15-1.
Los Osos' pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them:  Chino Hills has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.5  hits per game. It's a different story for Los Osos, though, as  they've been averaging 9.7. Given Chino Hills' sizable advantage in that area, Los Osos will need to find a way to close that gap.
