When it comes to explaining why Arlington Baptist lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zachary Davis. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. Davis scored a full 47.2% of Arlington Baptist's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Gardner, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Carroll Christian pushed their record up to 1-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Arlington Baptist, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Carroll Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Frederick Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. Frederick Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Arlington Baptist, they will head out on the road to face off against Living Grace Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
