It was another big night for Arissa Jenkins, who scored 23 points for Haines City. Amari Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Mater Brighton Lakes Academy's loss was their 17th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.2 points per game. As for Haines City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season.
Mater Brighton Lakes Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th. Davenport is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Haines City, they will take on Spruce Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Spruce Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Wednesday.
