The biggest upset of the week belonged to Menchville, who took down 174th ranked Gloucester, 35-0.
Phoebus extended the longest winning streak in AAA Peninsula this week by beating Heritage, 28-27. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
The Hurricanes' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Richard Outlaw threw for 181 yards and Raseam Streater had 69 yards receiving. On the ground Khalid Abdullah chipped in 206 yards. Abdullah helped Heritage's passing attack out by catching one ball for 68 yards.
Heritage's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hurricanes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Outlaw has thrown for 408 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Marcus Hook has three catches for 141 yards. Abdullah leads the league in rushing with 674 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Bethel takes on Phoebus. At the moment, the Bruins are in fourth, while Stan Sexton's team is in first.
Denbigh was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 10th to eighth in AAA Peninsula. Earlier in the week, the Patriots defeated the Patriots 42-13.
