Follett is 10-0 against the Cougars since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Follett Panthers will be playing at home against the Fort Elliott Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Follett waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They really took it to Kelton for the full four quarters, racking up a 38-11 win on the road.
Follett got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reyna Rosales out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Kambri Braley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Fort Elliott didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Warriors on Friday, but they still walked away with a 41-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fort Elliott.
Follett has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Fort Elliott, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
Follett skirted past the Cougars 38-35 in their previous meeting on January 9th. Will Follett repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
