After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dewar, Coweta was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Shawnee Wolves get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Alex Crawford looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Josh McDermott was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since March 1st. Another player making a difference was Jackson Plyler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
