Curie waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with  a   7-4  victory over the Kennedy Crusaders. This was a revenge game for the Condors: when they faced off against the Crusaders  on April 3rd, they had to take a  14-9  defeat.
Curie pushed their record up to 7-2 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kennedy, they moved to 8-5 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
 Curie has already played their next game,  a  22-0  win against Back of the Yards College Prep on the 23rd. As for Kennedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  7-2  victory against Kenwood on the 21st.
