The Middle College Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Foshay by a score of 50-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Middle College has suffered yet this season.
Foshay found their leader in underclassman Shomare' Gray, who scored 21 points along with five assists and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Gray posted two or more blocks. Peter Egwurube was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Middle College dropped their record down to 4-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Foshay, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.
