If Tyler was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. Marys on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Great Bridge Wildcats on Saturday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Katie Grimm paced Tyler's offense, picking up nine kills. Grimm got some help from Raylynn Heintzman and her 11 assists. Grimm was also a major player on defense: she and Kayli West shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Tyler's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Great Bridge, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Tyler wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Cape Henry Collegiate on the 13th. As for Great Bridge, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Ambassador Christian School on the 13th.
