The Eastern Hancock Royals were the 62-27 winner over the Daleville Broncos when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Eastern Hancock might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-52 to Daleville, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Eastern Hancock has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Eastern Hancock had strong showings from Eli Manship, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds, and Caden Powers, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Kayden Ruble, who scored 10 points.
Eastern Hancock now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Daleville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Eastern Hancock will be home for the holidays to greet Knightstown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Daleville, they will head out on the road to face off against Blue River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
