The Duchesne Eagles will square off against the Beaver Beavers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Duchesne is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-6 win over Enterprise. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Kasen Crum

Kasen Crum had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 150 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards. Kade Thacker was another key player, gaining 124 total yards and a touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Duchesne was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 180 rushing yards in three consecutive games.
Duchesne didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brex Robinson, Scottie Branson, and Crum picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, while Beaver put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Parowan. The Beavers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rams 49-0. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Duchesne better keep an eye on Davin Orton. He was instrumental in Beaver's win, rushing for 113 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 74 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing touchdowns Orton has posted since back in August.
Duchesne's record is now 9-2. As for Beaver, their record now sits at an identical 9-2.
Duchesne barely slipped by Beaver in their previous matchup back in September, winning 24-23. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Orton, who rushed for 53 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 99 yards and one TD on only six passes. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Eagles still be able to contain Orton? There's only one way to find out.
