The Classical Academy Titans can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 64-22 victory over Elizabeth. Winning may never get old, but The Classical Academy sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Alaina Bonacquista was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Delaney, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
The Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Elizabeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
The Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fountain-Fort Carson at 1:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Averaging 57.59 points so far this season, The Classical Academy's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Fountain-Fort Carson better be ready for a challenge. As for Elizabeth, they will head out on the road to take on Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Elizabeth focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Friday.
