Killingly has been on the road for two straight, but  on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Windham Whippets at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Last Friday, Killingly beat Griswold 64-52. 64 seems to be a good number for Killingly as the  team scooped up a  victory with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 Meanwhile, Windham's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their sixth straight  loss. They took a   67-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waterford.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Anthony Green, who  scored 26 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.  Tahj Jones was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with seven  assists and two  steals.
 Killingly is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record  this season. As for Windham, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Killingly ended up a good deal behind  Windham in their previous matchup  back in February of 2022, losing  56-39. Thankfully for Killingly,  Travis Mangual jr. (who  scored 28 points along with eight  rebounds and seven  assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
