It was a good run, but the Lockport Lions unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They were beaten by Clarence 43-16. Lockport has not had much luck with Clarence recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Lockport still got an impressive performance from Shey Williams, who rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Williams was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
Lockport's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Clarence, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
Lockport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clarence will take on East/World of Inquiry at 8:00 p.m. on November 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (East/World of Inquiry is ranked 28th, while Clarence is ranked 40th).
