Fans got a thrill when Dalton Gallis and Shane Hawk connected against McFarland. The connection went for 89 yards, the longest such play in High Desert this season.
Kern Valley's Gallis recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Cougars last week. Gallis scampered for 66 yards on the play and finished with 105 on the day as his team beat McFarland.

The Broncs scaled the state rankings by moving to 451 from 478 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Kern Valley climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Cougars 52-2.
