Gibson Southern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brodey Lamb led the charge by scoring 13 points along with two steals. Lamb is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Cam Truxal was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 assists.
Tecumseh has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Gibson Southern, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.
Tecumseh has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on February 16th. As for Gibson Southern, they will head out on the road to challenge Pike Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pike Central is coming into the match with five straight victories at home, so Gibson Southern is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
