The Stringer Red Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by Piney Woods on the road and fell 61-32. Stringer was down 47-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Piney Woods' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeovani Kazadi, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kidade Strode, who scored 15 points.
Stringer has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for Piney Woods, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.
Stringer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Piney Woods also has no future games currently scheduled.
