Basketball Game Preview: Stuart W. Cramer Storm vs. North Gaston Wildcats

The Stuart W. Cramer Storm will venture away from home to challenge the North Gaston Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stuart W. Cramer has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.

Stuart W. Cramer is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 73-46 victory over Cherryville. The win was some much needed relief for the Storm as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Stuart W. Cramer found their leader in sophomore Gavin Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Jordan. Dj Cross was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Stuart W. Cramer was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, North Gaston made off with a 39-38 victory over West Lincoln. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Stuart W. Cramer better keep an eye on Jalen Howard. He was instrumental in North Gaston's win, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards. The dominant performance gave Howard a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Hill, who posted five points and nine rebounds.

Stuart W. Cramer's record now sits at 5-7. As for North Gaston, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
