Viewmont fell to Woods Cross 41-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Weber made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,617 from 6,501. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 40-7 victory over Bonneville last week.
Davis's dynamic duo of Colton Chronister and Abel Porter proved tough for Taylorsville to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Chronister threw for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns and Porter had 120 yards receiving. Parker Rose helped Davis' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 59 yards.
The Darts' dynamic duo of Chronister and Porter proved to be unstoppable against the Warriors, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
He went 15-24 with 0 interceptions.
Jacob Shaw was a key player and the best on defense this week as Layton beat Clearfield. The 6-foot-1 defensive end racked up 2.0 sacks.
Porter was the best wideout in 5A Region 1 this week as Davis defeated Taylorsville.
Davis Marriott was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 118 yards as the Lancers defeated Rodney Wells' team. Teammate Justin Banks added to the ground attack by rushing for 54 yards.
Chronister put up the best numbers in passing as the Darts bested the Warriors.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Davis' Chronister and Porter have proven to be a lethal combination. Chronister has thrown for 579 yards this season, while Porter has 9 catches for 257 yards. Marriott from Layton leads the league in rushing with 406 yards.
The most important game in 5A Region 1 this week will be the match up between the Darts and Syracuse. Davis enters the contest ranked 15th in the state, while the Titans ranks third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Darts take on Syracuse. Davis has allowed 14 points this season, while the Titans have given up 31. The Darts allowed 0 points last week as they beat Taylorsville.
The Warriors led the league in scoring this week by notching 40 points on the Lakers. Auston Tesch ran for 103 yards and caught 1 passes for 19 yards during the win.
