Odom is becoming a predictor of Sylva Bay Academy's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Gage Kennedy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Like Sylva Bay Academy, Enterprise also got a great game from a two-way player: Brody Smith. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Smith a new career-low in walks (zero). He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles.
In other batting news, Brody Blackburn was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. Stone Griffin also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Sylva Bay Academy's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's contest. Sylva Bay Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.7 stolen bases per game.
